Day 1: Nyakalengija (1615m asl.) – Nyabittaba Camp (2651m asl.)

The central circuit begins at the Rwenzori Mountaineering Administrations’ workplaces at Nyakalengija. From John Matte Cottage the path drops down to cross the Bujuku River and enters Lower Bigo Marsh, the domestic of mammoth lobelias. Leaving Bujuku, the path takes you through more lowland, whereas climbing the soak inclines west of the lake and through the enchanted woodland of Groundsel Chasm. The path will lead you through the Scott-Elliot pass, where there are marvelous sees of Bujuku Lake and Mount Speke. Below Guy Yeoman, the course plummets the cliffs of Kichuchu. Past Kichuchu the sloppy way crosses the Mubuku Waterway twice through a bamboo woodland sometimes recently climbing downwards to Nyabitaba to total the circuit. Continue climbing downwards and total your journey by the evening. The plunge from guy yeoman to Nyakalengija takes 7 – 8 hour
